Training Science Teachers To Enhance Student Stem Learning And Engagement
Eighteen teachers from 14 states will join the NASA Astronomy Activation Ambassadors (AAA) program as its 2023 cohort to learn the latest about NASA’s astrophysics and planetary science missions, receive access to NASA education resources, and be trained to teach a curriculum module produced by the SETI Institute that connects curriculum concepts to NASA-supported scientific research.

Shattering Limits: Citizen Astronomers Achieve Record-Breaking 2022!
In 2022, the network of SETI Institute/Unistellar observers utilized Unistellar telescopes to conduct more than 4,000 scientific observations, a significant rise from the previous year's 1,100. This active participation in astronomical research resulted in breaking world records and providing crucial data to the scientific community. From planetary defense to exoplanets, citizen scientists in this global community are contributing to numerous fields of astronomical research.
