Dr. Danny Ammon, born in 1979, is a research assistant in medical informatics. He has been a member of the Society for Research into the UFO Phenomenon (GEP eV) since 2003 and of the Society for Anomalistics (GfA eV) since 2004. Danny has served as the second chairman of the GEP since 2008 and has been the managing editor of the "Journal for UFO research" from 2006 to 2022. He advocates for a critical, theoretically and methodologically sound, and interdisciplinary study of the UFO phenomenon. Danny is a medical data science and healthcare interoperability specialist, working as head of the Data Integration Center at Jena University Hospital. He is also active in the EuroUFO.net community and an affiliate member of the Society for UAP Studies.
