Stefano Innocenti, born in Rome in 1957, has been involved in ufology since 1974. He has been a UFO investigator in Rome, Italy, for many years and an active member of the Italian Center for UFO Studies (CISU) since 1986. Stefano coordinates the Regional Catalogue of UFO Sightings in Lazio (CARLA) and works as the technical manager of a university laboratory in Rome. He is a specialist in reported physical effects in Close Encounters, collecting and analyzing data for his EF.Cat project, which he has curated since 1992. Stefano served as provincial representative and regional coordinator for CISU, managing the first telephone hotline for UFO sighting reports in Rome. He has conducted numerous investigations on UFO cases and managed the archive and regional catalog of sightings in Lazio from 1990 to 2015. Since 2014, he has been a member of MUFON, serving as the State Section Director for Central Italy. In 2023, he became a member of the CISU board of directors.
